If paying by mail the forms of payment are local personal checks, money orders or cash. If paying in person we accept cash, checks or money orders. Credit cards are accepted online at the link above.

Compliance violations require proof of correction (ie: current registration, receipt for repair, etc).

There is an opportunity to take a defensive driving class in order to have a moving violation dismissed. This is assigned during the court session by the judge. The following requirements must be met in order to attend the defensive driving class: you must attend court, you should have no other moving violations on your record nor taken a class to have a moving violation dismissed anywhere within the last three years. If you meet the requirements assignment is automatic. If you qualify for the defensive driving class and wish to attend do not pay the ticket in advance. You will be asked to pay $75 court costs on the day you appear (local check or cash payments only). Registration for the class is an additional $50 paid directly to the defensive driving school you attend. There are two options for attending driving school: live classroom and an Online Driving School, information for both will be provided in court.
