To get emergency alerts that are specific to your neighborhood, such as a suspect on the run in your neighborhood or a tornado alert affecting only your part of Brentwood, you must have an up-to-date account in the Williamson County Citizen Alert System, also known as Everbridge.  Through this system, you can customize the way you want to be notified (mobile, text, or email), the types of alerts you want to receive, and do-not-disturb times.  Most landlines are already in the system.  Sign up here

To receive city-wide traffic alerts on your cell phone, just text 37027 to 888777 to opt-in to Everbridge’s other platform known as Nixle.  Those messages are sent to everyone who has opted in, and they are not tailored to specific neighborhoods.
