9 Classes from  6-9 pm on Thursday nights at Brentwood Police Headquarters 910 Heritage Way

The Brentwood Citizen Police Academy is designed to offer residents a 'behind the scenes' look at how the police department operates.   Students will participate in practical exercises, including traffic stops, building searches, firearms familiarization and others. 

Requirements 

  • 21 years of age or older
  • no felony convictions
  • Brentwood resident or employed within the City of Brentwood
  • limited background check

Important: While completion of this course gives citizens an understanding of the workings of the Brentwood Police Department, it does not make a participant a certified law enforcement officer, nor is it designed to train citizens to perform law enforcement duties.
