Who We Are

The Friends of the Brentwood Library is a nonprofit (501c3) service organization dedicated to the advancement of our community through its library.

The Friends have accomplished much during their almost 40 years of service working side-by-side with library.  Starting from its humble beginnings to what it is today, the Friends have helped to make The Brentwood Library truly one of the finest libraries in Tennessee.

What We Do

The Friends sponsor quarterly book sales and operate the online Amazon store.
All monies from the book sales go directly back into your library!
Members also donate countless hours of volunteer service.

The following are special projects funded by the Friends' efforts:
- Travel and attendance for conferences and workshops
- Staff Development Day
- Summer Reading Programs
- All programming (excluding Morning with Santa and the Easter Egg Hunt)
- Technology upgrades to the Fall Conference Room and Storytime Room
- Holiday decorations
- Art Wall and Showcase Displays
- Hotspots, telescopes, binoculars, and ukuleles
- Many other improvements to services and collections at the library.

Dues may be paid at the library, mailed to the Friends at 8109 Concord Rd., Brentwood, TN  37027 or paid at the link above.
