Did you know?
- The City of Brentwood offers brush collection once a month to all residents on residential streets. This service cost the city roughly $500,000 annually. To continue this free service, we ask that you follow the rules set forth by the City and enforced by the Department.
- The free Brush Removal Service operated by the City of Brentwood is designated to accommodate routine trimming and pruning done by the homeowner, residing in the home. Without limitations, the City would be unable to service all homes monthly.
- If you have large amounts of brush and large trees removed by commercial landscaping services , it must be disposed of by the company. If you hire someone to cut your brush, be sure that the cost of hauling the brush, yard waste and other debris away is included in the price estimate you receive.
- We offer our service year-round. So we come through each neighborhood, January - December and will pick up your brush pile and will even remove your Christmas tree when you are done with it.
- Our Department has 6 grapple trucks that run the brush routes daily with a mechanical arm that assists the staff with not only physical fatigue but safety as well.
- If you put your paper bags out to the curb and it rains before we get to your home, leave them. Do not move them. Moving them will lessen the integrity of the strength of the paper and make them weaker. If they fall apart when we pick them up, no worries, we will clean it up before we move on to the next house.
