Ad Hoc Committee 

The Brentwood Racquet Facility Ad Hoc Committee consisted of seven (7) members. The Board was comprised of five residents of Brentwood appointed by the Board of Commissioners, one member of the Park Board appointed by the Park Board, and one member of the Board of Commissioners.  All board members were residents of the city at the time of and during their term of appointment.

This limited-duration ad hoc committee was formed to provide the Board of Commissioners with information regarding design options and operating policies and procedures, to include cost and revenue projections, for a possible racquet facility to be built in Crockett Park.

This committee commenced work upon creation and appointment of members by the Board of Commissioners at the July 24th meeting and concluded with the submission of a final report to the City Commission within 90 days from the date of the Committee’s first meeting.

The final report by the Racquet Facility Ad Hoc Committee was distributed to the Board of Commissioners on October 31, 2023. A formal presentation was be given at the City Commission Information Meeting on November 9, 2023 at 9:00 am in the 2nd Floor Annex Room.
