Zoning

Zoning districts define the types of uses allowed in different locations in the city.  For information on how a particular tract of land is zoned and what is permitted, contact the Planning and Codes Department  or 615-371-2204.  Zoning maps and ordinances are on display at the Planning and Codes Department and are available for a small fee.  City ordinances and an electronic version of the zoning map are available on the city's website.
