In accordance with the Brentwood Municipal Code, Article IV, any person soliciting contributions or anything else of value for any real or alleged charitable or religious purpose within the corporate limits of Brentwood must first obtain a permit.

Each applicant must submit an application online, which must include a letter from the organization authorizing representation and a copy of their driver's license for the background investigation.  All documents must be attached to the online application to proceed.  Please be prepared with this information before you start the application process.  Paper applications will no longer be accepted.  Electronic application submission is required.

Permits will be issued via email after all documentation has been submitted and a background check has been completed by the Brentwood Police Department.  Failure to provide correct information on the application will delay the issuance of your permit.

If you have any questions, please contact the Finance Department at 615-371-0060.
