On 10/25/2014, at 9:00 AM the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will be held in Maryland Farms.  The event is expected to bring approximately 20,000 participants to the Maryland Farms area on the morning of 10/25/2014.   Due to the large number of participants it will be necessary to close several roads in the Maryland Farms area for the duration of the event. The following roads will be closed with closing times and approximate opening times attached.

The race will begin on Cadillac Drive near Andrews Cadillac.  The race will go west on Cadillac Drive and turn left onto Penn Warren Drive, the race will turn right onto Maryland Way and travel west on Maryland Way to Granny White Pike, the event will utilize the west bound lanes of Maryland Way only.  The race will turn left onto Granny White Pike and left again onto Virginia Way.  The race will continue east on Virginia Way to Winners Circle and turn left onto Winners Circle.  The race will continue to Winners Circle to Maryland Way and will turn right onto Maryland Way.  The race will go east on Maryland Way and turn right onto Westwood Place.  From Westwood Place the race will turn left onto Virginia Way and continue east to Ward Circle.  The race will continue east on Ward Circle to Maryland Way and will turn right onto Maryland Way and end in front of the Maryland Farms YMCA.
