City Continues to Fund Local Schools and Groups

The City of Brentwood is proud to support our local schools, consistently ranked as some of the top schools in the nation. Since 1986, the City of Brentwood has donated over $3.8 million to Brentwood schools.

City of Brentwood Donations to Brentwood Schools for FY 2012 total $225,000 as follows:

Brentwood High School	$60,000
Ravenwood High School	$60,000
Brentwood Middle School	$15,000
Sunset Middle School	$15,000
Woodland Middle School	$15,000
Crockett Elementary School	$10,000
Edmondson Elementary School	$10,000
Kenrose Elementary School	$10,000
Lipscomb Elementary School	$10,000
Scales Elementary School	$10,000
Sunset Elementary School	$10,000

These donations to the schools were recently presented to the school principals at the August 8, 2011 City Commission Meeting.

In addition to supporting Brentwood Schools, the City also makes annual contributions to local non-profit groups that provide recreational programs open to all interested Brentwood residents. The contributions are made in recognition that without these groups, the City of Brentwood would likely be required to provide these programs directly. The FY 2012 contributions total $87,000 as follows:

Fifty Forward Senior Center	$45,000
Brentwood Civitan	$20,000
Brentwood YMCA	$12,000
Brentwood Blaze	$10,000
