Brentwood Fire and Rescue Members Recognized for Professional Accomplishments

Post Date:09/15/2020

City Commissioners recognized several members of the Brentwood Fire and Rescue Department at the September 14 City Commission meeting for their professional accomplishments.  The internationally accepted model of Professional Credentialing through the Center for Public Safety Excellence’s (CPSE) Commission on Professional Credentialing (CPC) recognizes competence in fire and emergency services and offers career guidance and planning.

The CPC offers five designations developed using a model that looks at the "whole" officer. Achieving the designation requires a strong educational background, diverse participation in emergency services at the local, state, and national level; and demonstrated involvement in the broader community, all validated by emergency services peers.
