Brentwood residents, businesses, churches, and schools are now allowed to make reservations again at park shelters and pavilions if 50 people or less attend. These guidelines are in accordance with the Tennessee Pledge for reopening post-COVID 19 and Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Order No 38. Any existing reservations from non-Brentwood entities will be honored provided the event complies with the Governor's order regarding the maximum attendance for a social gathering and Brentwood’s specific shelter capacity. While shelter reservations are allowed, park playgrounds, basketball courts, and other amenities are not available until further notice.
Currently, the Governor’s order limits social gatherings to 50 people. Below is a list of the maximum occupancy limits pavilions and shelters in order to meet social distancing guidelines:
- Granny White Park - 50
- River Park - 25
- Owl Creek Park - 25
- Crockett Park - 25
- Smith Park - 25
