Update on Christmas Decoration and Toy Drives

Post Date:12/09/2010
The City of Brentwood has been involved in two Christmas charity drives this holiday season.

The effort to collect new or gently used Christmas decorations to give to families affected by the May floods has been tremendously successful.  However, that effort will end on Thursday, December 9.  Beginning Friday, December 10, Brentwood fire stations will no longer be accepting Christmas decorations.  Anyone wanting to make a last minute donation of Christmas decorations for this program on Friday will have to take the decorations directly to the Noah's Christmas location at Watson Glen Shopping Center next to K-Mart on Hwy. 96 in Franklin.  The decorations will distributed on Saturday, December 11.

The Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots collection drive will continue until Christmas Eve.  New unwrapped toys can be dropped at city fire stations as well as the Brentwood Municipal Center, Brentwood Library and Brentwood Service Center.
