“An Evening at the Library”

On Friday, April 24, 2015, at 6:30 pm The Brentwood Library Foundation will host “An Evening at the Library”, an entertaining literary event with elegant music, cocktail dinner and an opportunity to meet the New York Times bestselling author, Ken Abraham.

Ken is known around the world for his collaborations with popular celebrities and fascinating high-profile public figures. He worked with persons such as the former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft; Senator  Bob Dole; Astronaut Buzz Aldrin; actor Chuck Norris; former U.S. Senate Majority Leader, Bill Frist; and champion boxer George Foreman.

His latest book , Walk to Beautiful, is about Jimmy Wayne, a story of a thirteen year old boy who was abandoned by his mother at a bus station and how he survived being hungry and homeless and grew up to be a famous country singer and songwriter. Ken will also discuss Set Free, the story of Gaile Owens, a story of forgiveness and reconciliation written with Stephen Owens; and When Your Parent Becomes Your Child, Abraham’s own chronicle of his mother’s journey through dementia.

Ken Abraham will share his love for writing as well as his experience as a nationally known author.  The Brentwood Library Foundation invites you to an evening filled with good food, drink and conversation at the library.
