The City Commission "Informational Meeting" is held on the Thursday before each City Commission Meeting (held the second and fourth Mondays of the month, unless otherwise rescheduled). The Informational Meetings are an opportunity for the Commission to discuss items on the forthcoming agenda, to ask questions of staff, and to request additional information in advance of the Monday meeting.
In the interest of the public health, safety, and welfare of the public, this meeting will be held electronically pursuant to Governor’s Executive Order No. 16, 34, 51, and 60. Physical presence of the public will be limited, but the meeting may be viewed online. Any citizens who wish to make a comment may have access to do so via webcam at City Hall during the citizens comment portion of the meeting.
The meetings are held at 9:00 a.m. Attendance by individual Commissioners is optional, though most will typically be present. The public is invited to attend and listen to the discussion. The meetings are videotaped and are made available the following day here: CLICK FOR VIDEO. They are broadcast on Comcast Channel 19 at 9:00 a.m and 7:00 p.m. the following Monday and Wednesday, as well as the week after.
The agenda for the meeting is the same as the agenda for the following City Commission Meeting, which you can find here: CLICK FOR AGENDA.
